I'm not sure why this would be desirable?...

- If Notes needs access to specific resources, change the permissions on those resources rather than run Notes as root. Unix, and from that Linux, was designed from the ground up to support operation of nearly anything without root access. Giving Notes root is tossing that entire model out on its ear, which seems ill advised at best.
